Bank Andara Receives Delegation from China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA)
On Monday and Tuesday (3-4/12), Bank Andara received a visit from a delegation from the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) who conducted a comparative study on the microfinance sector at the Bank Andara Denpasar office. The visit of the delegation consisting of 14 people aimed to learn about Bank Andara's technology and risk management in serving microfinance institutions in Indonesia.
On the first day, representatives of Bank Andara made a presentation to the CFPA delegation regarding Andara's Loan product which is only given to MFIs and risk management of Andara's Loan product. In addition, it also explained about AndaraLink – a technology-based service that allows MFIs to provide services like commercial banks, namely making regular monthly bill payments, transferring and sending and receiving money to both commercial banks and the AndaraLink network MFIs.
On the second day, the CFPA delegation together with representatives from Bank Andara visited 2 (two) Bank Andara customers, namely BPR Tata Anjung Sari and BPR Dewangga Baliartha in Denpasar. During this visit, the CFPA delegation had the opportunity to dig deeper into the products and services provided by BPR to customers as one of the actors in the microfinance sector.
